It is a logically isolated environment where a company’s tenant data, configurations, and users are managed independently from other tenants. **Workspaces** are logical tenants that are initially created by the **SaaS platform administrator**. Upon creation, the platform admin assigns a **main administrator** to the workspace. This assigned administrator is then responsible for customizing and configuring the workspace to reflect the company’s branding as well company’s access control settings for the users. Information about the Workspace configuration and branding can be found in [Settings](https://portal.document360.io/06417a5c-658f-4a8a-ad57-27f6e06c9e0d/document/v1/category/d97567fa-6218-4b98-b505-39ee6834b58e). Upon creating a workspace, the **Platform Administrator** is required to configure the **services** that will be available to the workspace users. This configuration is done through the **workspace subscription**, which is described in [Subscription](https://portal.document360.io/06417a5c-658f-4a8a-ad57-27f6e06c9e0d/document/v1/view/3d42c853-d614-447c-99dc-49c1504fce82) The **SaaS Administrator** can create and manage **multiple subscriptions** for a single workspace. The detailed information that the SaaS Platform Administrator configures for each workspace includes the following: | **Field** | Description | | --- | --- | | Workspace domain | The unique subdomain assigned to the workspace. This is the URL used to access the workspace | | Workspace admin email | The email address of the main administrator responsible for managing the workspace. > **Note:** Upon being assigned, the workspace admin receives an **email or SMS** with instructions to **activate their account**. | | Main Company | The company under which the workspace is registered or associated. > [!NOTE] > Note: This information is inherited from the main company which owns this tenant | | Country | The country in which the workspace primarily operates. | | Timezone | The default time zone used within the workspace. > [!NOTE] > Note: the users of the workspace can set their own local timezone | | Language | The default language for the workspace interface and communications. | | Data center location | The deployment environment for the workspace. | **Workspaces have different statuses** that reflect their current state in the system. These statuses help administrators manage availability and access: - **Active**: The workspace is fully operational and accessible to its users. - **Suspended**: The workspace is temporarily disabled; users cannot access it until it's reactivated. - **Terminated**: The workspace is permanently deactivated and cannot be restored or accessed.
